• No need to issue cheques by investors while subscribing to IPO. Just write the bank account number and sign in the application form to authorise your bank to make payment in case of allotment. No worries for refund as the money remains in investor's account.
  • Attention investors: Prevent unauthorised transactions in your demat account. Update your mobile number with your Depository Participant. Receive alerts on your registered mobile for all debit and other important transactions in your demat account directly from CDSL on the same day. Issued in the interest of investors. Freeze Policy

How the Freeze Works

Keynote Capitals offers voluntary freezing, or blocking, of online access to trading accounts under SEBI circular SEBI/HO/MIRSD/POD-1/P/CIR/2024/4 dated 12 January 2024 and the instructions of the Market Infrastructure Institutions.

  1. Step 1

    Send the Request

Use either channel: the form on this page, or an email from your registered email address to stoptrade@keynotecapitals.com.

  2. Step 2

    Access Is Blocked and Confirmed

Online access to the trading account is blocked, and an acknowledgement is issued to your registered email address within the regulatory timelines. It includes:

    • confirmation of the freezing or blocking
    • confirmation that all pending orders are cancelled
    • details of open positions, if any, with the contract expiry information
  3. Step 3

    Re-enabling Online Access

To re-enable access, contact the Risk Officers of Keynote Capitals, either directly or through your dealer or Authorised Person. Once satisfied, the Risk Officers will approve re-enabling online access.
